Acting Headshots Photographer Orlando, Florida

Every actor in Orlando, whether film or theater, needs a great actor headshot. Your Headshots should immediately show casting directors and agencies your point of view as an actor, your character, your accurate appearance, and that you’re a professional. Above all, your headshot set should clearly communicate that you are PERFECT for the role. Excellent professional acting headshots in the film industry are vital to a great first impression, and are one of the most important investments you can make to be seen - and NOT overlooked.

Whether you are a new actor - just getting started, or are a seasoned actor and familiar with the industry, your acting headshots should be renewed every year to keep your resume fresh. Often, the same casting directors will be involved in projects and if they’ve overlooked your photos before, a new headshot is very important.

Getting the best headshots for actors is a very specific challenge. Most headshot photographers are more general photographers for corporate professionals, and do not specialize in acting.

That’s where I come in. I specialize in actors for film and theater - two different styles of actor headshots. There is a huge difference in what casting directors are looking for! Your headshot photographer should be in communication with agencies and directors to provide the best Orlando acting headshots possible. We want you to appear talented, capable, desirable, smart, self-assured, and accessible.

I make the photo shoot process simple, convenient, and efficient, with options so you can get exactly what you are looking for. You’ll get headshots that you and your agencies, coaches, and casting directors love.

Why are professional acting headshots so important?

(Can’t I just submit headshots taken by myself or a friend?)

Great Headshots help you get in front of casting directors.

And bad ones can immediately disqualify you from the role…

Having your actor headshots taken professionally is incredibly important in order to book auditions.

Whether right or wrong, actors are judged by their looks, and very very quickly! That first impression is to your career.

Having a bad headshot is like telling the directors that you don’t care much about your profession and might not be serious about acting.

An excellent, quality acting headshot immediately communicates expertise. It is your foot in the door!

When it comes to your career, a professionally-taken actor headshot is likely the most important investment you can make in order to be taken seriously.

How much do acting headshots cost?

I know that getting started in the field can be tough, and that budget can be a concern when getting your career started. That is why I offer several different acting headshot options, in order to better fit the needs of each individual during the headshot photography session.

Acting headshot sessions include either 1, 2, or 3 looks (indoor, outdoor, or a combination of both).

1 Look - $249
2 Looks - $399
3 Looks - $499

Your $249 session includes ALL of your headshots, with your favorite two images perfected in Photoshop. You will receive each edited headshot in several versions: Full and web resolution, along with a few different crops depending on your needs. Sometimes you will need to submit your headshot digitally and need the right resolution to send your images online. Other times, you will need to provide a printed headshot. No matter what your needs are, I’ve got you covered.

If you are able, in order to get a more complete set of headshots, I always recommend booking a 2 or 3-look session. This way, we can capture a few different characters and expressions.

When you shoot several looks, you can let casting directors know right away that you are perfect for whatever role you are auditioning for, whether comedic, dramatic, or more specific roles like a nerd, lawyer, detective, or guy-next-door.

I also have two very budget-friendly headshot options if you are willing to make a bit of a commitment:

If you don’t need a custom session, are just getting started or need just a simple updated headshot, I have two sessions you can consider that are the most affordable options.

Headshot Days

If you are willing to have your headshot taken on a bright white background, Headshot Days may be a good fit for you.

These sessions take place on 2 specific days each month. You simply sign up for a slot and show up ready to go for your commercial acting headshot taken on a white background!

Coach/Agency Partnership

When you are referred by an acting coach or agency that I partner with, you can receive a 1-look session for just $75. These special, deep discounted sessions are reserved for partners only.

Ask your agency if they partner with Eldeen Annette Headshots (and if not, feel free to introduce us!)

Am I the right Acting Headshot Photographer for you?

This is a great, and important question! Not all headshot photographers are the same, and your needs may be different than what I excel at with my acting headshots. Here are a few more things about me to hopefully help you know if I am the right fit for your needs - I want you to be fully comfortable working with me so our session is easy, fun, and is exactly what you were looking for.

I have tried (and many times, failed) all types of photography. I have photographed 3 weddings (let’s just say, that is a particular set of skills I do not have, haha!), loads of families, children, and wildlife, and after all my fun, I have decided that I just want to do headshots. I love them! I adore one-on-one time, and like to provide individuals with the best set of portraits they can get in the Orlando area.

Because I have decided to specialize in headshots above other types of photography, I have become very aware of what headshot photography requires regarding lighting, interacting, post-processing, posing, and what we are communicating in our headshots in central Florida.

What to look for when choosing your headshot photographer

There are quite a few headshot photographers in Central Florida. Some headshot photographers are good and know what they are doing with dedicated lighting and experience. Many photographers are just enthusiastic hobbyists with expensive cameras. Taking headshots for professional actors is a very unique niche that is different from other types of photography. This type of portrait photography needs someone who is experienced in photographing Headshots for actors specifically. It’s really about what is required and expected in this industry, which cannot normally be achieved with a photographer who doesn’t specialize.

The very first thing you should do, when considering who your photographer should be, is if you like their work. Can you see yourself in the style of headshot? Will your agency approve and be happy to send your headshot to potential jobs?

If you don’t like the style of headshot, you should stop right there and move on. If you are unsure, ask for an expert’s opinion! My goal in every session is to provide you with the most effective, attractive, and fun set of headshots possible. We also want you to look like YOU! Casting directors in Orlando definitely want to see the same person IN person as they do in the headshot. We want you to be the very best, most accurate version of YOU there is in your portrait.

Consider what your acting coach or agency would like for your headshots

If your agency or coach has specific goals for your actor headshots, I love listening! Have your coach or agency communicate with me what their needs are for your best headshot, and we will adjust any lighting, backdrop, etc., that we need to in order to accomplish your unique goals.

Think about your goals for acting headshots
